On Sunday May 16th we will have a criterium at the Mercy Regional Medical Center! All volunteers AND participants will receive a 2009 DWC T-shirt! (while supplies last)
We will need several volunteers for set-up, registration, marshaling, scoring and clean-up. We can shuffle people around so that if you want to race and volunteer you can do both. Send Spencer an email if you can help out: [email protected]
During the crit all 2010 members can pick up socks and water bottles! We will also have sign up sheets to volunteer for the the IHBC, Race Across the West and Clean Commute Week.
All races are open and FREE to all 2010 DWC members! One day DWC memberships will be available for $5 at the start. For safety and legal reasons you must be a member to participate!
All participants may race in all races! (A riders will not be eligible to win the B or C races, A & B riders will not be eligible to win the C race.)
Sunday Crit Schedule:
8:00 volunteers meet and set-up course
8:30 registration opens (please register 10 min prior to the start of your race.)
8:35 course open for practice
9:00 A race 50 min + 5 laps
10:00 B race 40 min + 5 laps
10:45 C race 30 min + 3 laps
11:30 clean-up
If we do not get a lot of folks we will combine categories.
Course:
The Mercy course is a short 6 turn course with a slight rise to each lap. We have control of the space and the road is closed to all but us! The road condition is very good.
