A 4 point bonus will be awarded to every rider who participates in all 4 events! There will also be bonus/handicap points for criterium primes, a mid-road race sprint, riding a “Merckx” TT, or singlespeed MTB TT, Details to follow.

PARTY! Yes, we will have a party with food and beer (and gluten free options too!) BUT, at this point it is still undecided… It will be fun though, all our parties are good because the manager guy likes to throw a good party. Want to help? Send us an email!

COURSE NOTES:
This year’s Criterium and Road TT are identical to last year. The MTB TT is a little longer with the addition of Mikes. Mikes added about 6 min to our test riders time (last years course was 29 min, this year was 35, for the test rider). The Road Race will be the same as 2011, with 3 laps of the upper valley and the finish halfway up Shalona on US 500.
MTB TT:
*ACTUAL 2013 DWC Championships MTB TT (click for a Google map) , STRAVA MAP
Start/Finish @ Meadow Entrance – Horse Gulch (3/4 mi. from parking area on Third St. by bike or foot)
Meadow, Stacy’s, Cuchillo, Mikes, Stacy’s, 5.4 miles
This “Infinity Loop” is a Figure 8 modification and is almost 1/2 mile longer than last years MTB TT. It is same up to the high point on Cuchillo (sign #48). From there it climbs Mikes’ from the NORTH side (clockwise), then descends to Stacy’s again (sign #46 – presently missing), repeating the sweeping gentle descent on Stacy’s, and then continues to the finish, paralleling the past route, then merging to the same finish.
The connect-the-dots route using the numbered Telegraph Trail System signs with turn direction is 31-L, 39-L, 36-R, 46-L (no sign), 42-S, 48-R, 46-R (no sign), 42-L, 43-S, 34-S. (S= straight)
The course will be marked for the event and we hope to have course marshals at any potentially confusing intersections, namely 46 (sign is missing) at top of Stacy’s and 42, bottom of Stacy’s.
