8am – Fall Blaze Bicycle Tour begins
10:30am – Vintage Bike Show and FLC Cycling Exhibit Opens – CSWS (Free)
10:30am – Huffy Toss/Ghost Ride – All day (Free, bikes provided)
10:30am – Devo Jr./FLC Team Relay (Short Course, need bike)
11:30am – Robbie Overfield
11:30am – CX Race – MTB Bikes – 12-17 yrs old, 20 minutes (Short Course, need bike)
12noon – CX Race – MTB Bikes– 30 minutes (Long Course, Free, need bike)
12:45pm – CX Race Exhibition – 40 minutes (Long Course, Free, need bike)
1:30pm – The Moetones
1:30pm – Team Relay Heats (4 person teams, Short Course, $100 per team, bikes provided, Costumes Encouraged)
3:30pm – Papa Otis and the 88’s
4:00pm – Team Relay Finals
5:00pm – Bash Closed
Description of Events
All events free with purchase of $10 Bikes & Bands Bash entry ticket, unless otherwise noted and bring your own bike, unless otherwise noted.
Must register on site and sign a waiver for all events.
10:30am – Vintage Bike Show and FLC Cycling Exhibit Opens – Center for Southwest Studies Lobby and Lyceum
A collection of Vintage and Legendary Road and MTBs on display and a collection of FLC Cycling Artifacts celebrating the 20th anniversary of the team.
How far can you throw and/or roll a bike?
10:30am – Devo Jr./FLC Team Relay – Short Course – $5
Open to any junior cyclist 11 years old or less
11:30am – Jr. CX Race – MTB Bikes – 20 minutes – Short Course – $5
Open to any junior cyclist 12-17 years old on a mountain bike who wants to try a cyclocross course
12noon – CX Race – MTB Bikes– 30 minutes – Long Course
Open to any cyclist 18 years and up on a mountain bike who wants to try cyclocross
12:45pm – CX Race Exhibition – 40 minutes – Long Course
Open to any cyclocross racer (CX or MTB) who wants to race
1:30pm – Team Relay Heats – 4 person teams – Short Course – $100 per team – Bikes provided
4 teams per heat, winners move to next heat to take on alumni legends and legend in finals, costumes encouraged
