Every two years the City of Durango Department of Transportation and Sustainability needs to conduct a bicycle and pedestrian count for the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project. If you can volunteer a couple hours (see flier below) please sign up today! -Spencer
Greetings to all 2011 and 2013 Durango Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Volunteers!
Here at the Multi Modal Division, we are gearing up to conduct our 2015 bike/pedestrian counts as we do every other year with the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project. We greatly appreciate your support and participation in previous counts and would love to have you join us again this year!
Counts will take place Tuesday, September 22 through Thursday, September 24 from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 26 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. We have 77 two-hour volunteer time slots that need to be filled, so please feel free to pass along this volunteer opportunity to family, friends and co-workers as well. Please visit www.GetAroundDurango.com for more information and to sign up as a volunteer for one of the time slots.
Let us know if you have any questions or need more detailed information. We look forward to another successful bicycle and pedestrian count endeavor in Durango!
Thank you!
Best,
Amber
