A passeggiata is an Italian evening ritual — a community-wide stroll through town. Join us in honoring the memory of our friend Paul Wilbert with a bicycle passeggiata from Buckley Park to the Powerhouse Science Center. Paul was instrumental in fulfilling the vision of Durango that we see today — a vision of a connected community, a multi modal transportation network, recreational facilities with amenities for all ages and abilities, an outstanding trail system, and a beautiful urban forest.

Love Your Commute Party– Thursday, June 23 from 5-7 pm  The 5th Annual Love Your Commute Party will commence after the First Annual Paul Wilbert Memorial Passeggiata at the Powerhouse Science Center. The Pedal vs. Metal Challenge will leave from the Powerhouse at 5:30 pm. Participants in the Pedal vs. Metal Challenge will be on bikes and in cars running errands around town, ending their race at the Powerhouse for an awards ceremony at 6 pm.
