The city of Durango still needs Volunteers to help with bicycle and pedestrian counts as part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project this Saturday, September 16! Please look at the locations below and sign up for a 2 hour shift if you can!
Every other year the City of Durango performs bicycle and pedestrian counts as part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project.
We are still in need of volunteers on Saturday, 9/16/17 12-2 PM for this important project to document bike-ped traffic in our community. The following spots are open:
Saturday, September 16, 12-2 PM
• US Hwy 160 and Three Springs Blvd
• E 8th Ave and E 3rd St
• E 8th Ave and College Dr
• Camino Del Rio and 9th St
• HAWK at Camino del Rio and 12th St
• W 3rd Ave and W Park Ave
• Main Ave and 32nd St
• Florida Rd and CR 250
Since we are requesting your time on Saturday, and we know you’d all rather be playing than counting, we will offer an additional FREE gift for your weekend time. This will be in addition to your FREE bike bell and FREE coffee token for each completed tally sheet.
If you can volunteer, or want more info, please contact Jennifer Hill at (970) 375-4955 or [email protected].
